This was a very interesting take on vampires as extraterrestrial beings. It actually reminds me of Herbert's Dune to a high degree. The plot is intriguing and definitely makes one want to read more. There are a few awkward transitions and dialogue, but overall entertaining.
I really wanted this to be good, I liked the premise of the vampires and hunters. She used her thesaurus too much and dropped the story into a confusing mess.
Not horrible but not great. It was a freebie on kindle and intrigued me enough that I might have to check out at least another book in the series...
