For more reviews, check out my blog: Craft-CycleA highly entertaining, educational, and fun book. This is such a fantastic series. Great for fans of the first book as well as the picture book series. Personally, I like the chapter books more than the picture books. It's just easier to really get to ...

For more reviews, check out my blog: Craft-CycleAn adorable picture book about a young scientist who never stops asking questions. Obviously I loved the focus on a girl interested in a STEM field, but I also kind of liked that she's a bit of a trouble maker. At first seeing her writing on the walls ...

Ada Twist, Scientist was labeled as a best seller on Amazon, and after reading it, I could see why.I loved that it had a little girl as the curious scientist. Visually exciting art with plenty of things for kids to look at over many readings. Really nice message about curiosity and embracing young scientific minds.(Got to meet this author at the MPIBA trade show Fall 2016.)

I do not have that problem. I have bunions. In case you do not know what bunions are, I will tell you. Bu...

Andrea Beaty's Dorko the Magnificent is the kind of middle-grade book that I love and cherish. The kind that has me giggling the whole way through, wanting to hug its characters, then hitting me with a poignant and well executed emotional punch.Fifth grader Robbie Darko is a magician. The top hat an...
