Holy brother complex. Eat your heart out V.C. Andrews. Seriously this was twisted. Just twisted enough that I'm gonna move on to book two.

text Too many characters, too many different story lines, too many inner monologues.

And the loooong thoughts were in italics too. I didn't like this very much and skimmed a lot of pages, simply because a lot of side action didn't contribute much to the main story. I very much disliked the whole "women are bad and want to rule the world" story line. Also there were so many gay...

I'm going to be honest here. This book is not for everyone. And I'm not even sure it was for me. It's dark, gritty, brutal, and not easy on people. Let me say this, if you like a sweet romance, avoid this book. There is a romance. It can be seen as sweet, I suppose. But there is so much to this book...
