Clearly written as the first book in a series, this is pretty much what it says on the tin - steampunk superheroes in NYC. Good beach/plane reading, but don't expect a real resolution at the end. I believe this is his first novel, but it doesn't feel like one.

The funnest thing I've read all year. Like reading Verne or Wells. Just great fun all the way through from characters to plot to humor. A truly fun experience. Couldn't put it down. Can't wait to read the next installment! Highly recommended.
