I expected a lot more from this book. The writing style wasn't one of my favorites and there were too many side stories with other characters that just got me confused. Only half the book was about the main characters.I loved the storyline but I guess the book wasn't my type of read.
3.5 stars really !I liked the main couple story , it would have been a 5 stars if the secondary character romance wasn't in there! I don't like Maureen's character so I didn't enjoy reading about her little romance!
Sometimes, I care more about the side plots than the 'main' one. I liked both Sean and Francine, but I don't tend to like the whole we broke up and this book is all about us getting back together. I get that it's four years later and they are both different people, but still. Carr does a good job in...
Robyn Carr's Virgin River novels have characters that are warm, funny & flawed, yet they work to overcome and survive what life has thrown at them. They come together as a community, as a family. This book starts with Sean Riordan's Story, mixes in some Ellie & Noah and even a little about Sean's ...
These books are like sitting by a fire drinking a warm cup of coffee surrounded by all the people you love. Sean and Franci are adorable and their daughter Rose is a warm breath of fresh air. Each book deals with a main love story but always goes back to the other people living in Virgin River to ...
My goodreads friends have written some really lovely reviews about this books and series so I will just write a few comments. Once again I devoured this book and cannot get enough of Virgin River. This story focused on another Riordan brother (Sean) and it was not a disappointment. I love Robyn C...
I liked this story. It was a great sweet, real story but it felt at times a little bit forced, after we'd seen Sean in Luke and Shelby's book Temptation Ridge I was a little concerned that Sean would still have his cocky attitude and that really annoyed me. But of course, it wasn't long before Sean ...
While not my favorite book in the series, this was an enjoyable read allowing us to catch up on all favorites. We also delve into Sean Riordan's life and deal with his former relationship to Franchi, the mother of his child.
A good story about fighter pilot Sean who runs into old girlfriend Franci who he broke up with four years ago because he didn't want to get married. I liked the atypical development of this relationship. I also enjoyed the subplots with new and old characters from previous books in the series.
