Angela was born in Mexico City, grew up in the great state of Texas, and recently moved from San Francisco to Brooklyn. As a child, she loved reading books and making a mess creating pictures. She's delighted to still be doing both.Since graduating with an MFA from the Academy of Art University, Angela has worked with a variety of publishing companies including Roaring Brook, Dial/Penguin, Feiwel and Friends, Abrams, Random House/Tricycle Press, Candlewick, Bloomsbury, Little Brown, Holiday House, and Children's Book Press.
