In kindergarten I wanted to be a veterinarian and have a hundred cats and ten kids. Then I went to first grade and learned how to write. I've been a scribbler ever since. My passion is writing break-your-heart YA romances. First love stories that will make you weep. I have an MFA in Writing for Children and Young Adults from Vermont College of Fine Arts and a BA in English from Brigham Young University. My husband and I share our time between the alp-lined shores of Lake Geneva, Switzerland and Arizona's Sonoran Desert. We have four kids, mostly grown up, the two most amazing grandkids in the universe, and no cats--unless you count the bobcat that likes to hang out on the veranda. This book was supposed to be FUN, LIGHT, and chick lit-y... Was it?! OF COURSE NOT. Damn it!
This was magical. The development of the characters was Ok. I felt that the main chick was kinda needy and well rather annoying. She bugged him way too much. Even though I wasn't really into the book, the almost ending tore me apart and the read ending smashed me to pieces
2.5 Stars!Beth has always been known as “The Beast” in her school because of her appearance. Tall, pimply with glasses, her only and best friend Scott is the only person who knows her for who she really is. With feelings developing for Scott slowly, a very confused Beth gets a complete makeover when...
