Angela "LemurKat" Oliver was born and raised in New Zealand. She currently resides in the lovely city of Christchurch with her husband and overactive imagination. Having achieved a degree in zoology and psychology, she went on to get a job working in a bookstore. And thus, her life revolves around books - she sells them, reads them and writes them. Her other hobbies involve drawing and she creates miniature works of art which she has distributed around the world, into over 80 countries. At present she has three published novels, and several art books (published via Blurb). Her current work in progress is her "Epic Lemur Saga" and she is also planning a sequel to "Aroha's Grand Adventure" starring Tiriki the kea. She has illustrated most of New Zealand's native birds, and has recently designed the New Zealand Naturally Tarot deck.
