In God's economy nothing is wasted. That, in a nutshell, is the story of my life where God's dramatic story of creation, reconciliation, redemption, and glorious new re-creation continues. I worked for about 10 years as an academic and technical systems librarian and another 10 in Research I Universities. Here I learned research writing. Teaching students who ranged in age from late teens to their forties, investigating information behaviors and digital organization, writing for peer-reviewed journals, and submitting endless grants and reports for academic tenure and financial support taught me a lot. In 2007, Library Journal called me a "Global Thinker" and gave me a Movers and Shakers Award for my pioneering work with open access archives and digital repositories. LJ noted: "Coleman has always wanted to leave the planet better than she found it. She's already done so." The perfect exit line :). I left the ivory tower and braved the challenges of being a stay-at-home wife and mother. My first indie book Garden of Grace: A Daybook of Faith and Healing (Ephesians) was published in 2012. Since then, I've written Casa Charis: A Daybook of Freedom (Galatians) in 2013, Ocean of Grace (a modest literary collection) and Eyes on Christ: Reflections on Being the People of God in the PC (USA) in 2014. I am very grateful to my husband and my readers whose love and support keeps me writing. Website http://anitacoleman.org/
