While secretary in a defense plant, became a NWA radio operator; married; daughter Jane; BA in Journalism at CSU Long Beach; published children's book "Lunch at the Zoo;" Co-authored "Kid Bytes"; edited and published corporate newsletters and Bel-Air Country Club's "Chips." Volunteer: created and produced "Galloping into the Nineties" for Santa Monica City TV; editorial staff of LWML Quarterly; docent at Will Rogers State Park; with my Arabian mare worked with SERT; learned to miter corners on a power saw with Habitat for Humanity in New Zealand.
