I might right a more formal review later, but for now - you can see why he was such a great writer. I love that he embraces Sci-Fi as well as the short stories that are interviews with animals. The poetry is good too. Toni Morrison's intro is her standard brilliance.

Lovely little book, somehow more macabre than I expected, the illustrations are adorable. I wouldn't recommend it to children, however.

A beautiful collection of essays, letters, and interviews that offered some insight into the depths of the author of the Neapolitan novels.
