It's a chicken in the city. Even if your next door neighbors have a flock of chickens and a load rooster, and the local farmer's market is the biggest thing in the county, the idea of a chicken all on its own in the city is wild and weird.Library copy

I don't normally review little kids' books, but I'd like to start including the ones I truly love. This series of board books is adorable, and I think their simple and sweet approach to concepts like bravery and sharing will be welcomed by parents of toddlers.
