Anne Heltzel was born in Warren, OH, attended the University of Notre Dame, and moved to New York City in 2006. In 2008, she earned her MFA in Creative Writing from the New School.Anne began her career in publishing in 2007 at a literary agency, and transitioned to an editorial division of Penguin Group USA (now Penguin Random House) in 2008, where she edited books by a number of talented authors until 2012. In 2011 her first novel, Circle Nine, was published by Candlewick Press.Anne has also lived in Mumbai and Paris, but is happy to call Brooklyn home.

Started it yesterday & can't put it down! Both equally likable & devious, Aubrey & Lena have some major secrets. What they could be and what they could have to do with their boyfriend Charlie's (presumed) death remains to be seen. Compelling read!
