Anne Morgan (born 16 November 1954) is an Australian writer who lives on Bruny Island, Tasmania. She holds a Phd in Writing and a Master of Education degree and has had careers in teaching, as well as public sector administration, journalism and staff training.She is the author of seven children's books, including the 2006-2007 Captain Clawbeak series by Random House Australia. She is also a published and prizewinning poet whose work has appeared in Best Australian Poems, 2010.
