Anne of Green Gables. L.M. Montgomery was inspired to write this great classic, by a number of things. One piece inspiration came from an old piece of paper that she had written when she was young, in which she described a couple that had been accidentally sent an orphan girl instead of the expected boy, deciding to keep her anyway. Montgomery also pulled from more young memories, taking from her experiences in Prince Edward Island.

Finally, after two months of not being able to finish a book...I got one finished! #Yes! Such a wonderful little book. And the narrator helped it along. I don't know if I had finished it without the narration. I've always loved the movies and when I saw the book in my local used book store, I ha...
