A native New Yorker, Anne Walker graduated from Middlebury College and holds a Master's Degree in Historic Preservation from Columbia University. She is co-author of The Ford Plantation Architectural Pattern Book with Donald M. Rattner. In addition, she co-authored The Architecture of Delano & Aldrich (W.W. Norton, 2003), The Architecture of Warren & Wetmore (W. W. Norton, 2006), The Architecture of Grosvenor Atterbury (W. W. Norton, 2009) and the introduction for a reprint of Frank M. Snyder's Building Details (2007) with Peter Pennoyer. She is a winner of the 2007 and 2009 Architectural Monograph Publication Award from the Victorian Society in America, Metropolitan Chapter, and received an Honorable Mention from the American Society of Interior Designers Educational Foundation/Joel Polsky Prize in 2003.
