Welcome to all!
I am Anne Wentworth and am proud to call Canada my home. I live on the Prairies with my husband and our very opinionated cat, Miss Fish.
I love all things paranormal and have had many experiences in my life that have led me towards the ‘spooky’ side of things. Over the years I have learned that moving forward with an open mind and heart and eyes can take you much farther and certainly make your life more interesting. Some might say I drink far too much coffee – is there really such a thing? I love chocolate and just food in general – so it is no surprise that cooking/baking are high priorities.
Writing happened early for me and when a story/book comes into my head – I just start typing. I let it flow and try to keep out of the way as the characters tell me their stories. I love writing – it makes my heart happy.
We are very fortunate to live in an area with much wildlife and incredible beauty. The peace here is wonderful.

Disclaimer: I was given a free copy of this book in exchange for an honest review. I’ve never been so sad to not finish a book, but this was has dragged on for so long and I keep putting it down because the issues repeatedly pulled me out of the story. It wouldn’t be so hard if I didn’t love the ...
I'm torn between 3 and 4 for this one. I liked this book and the writing was very good and it kept me reading, but something felt off. I think it was that I wasn't drawn into the story by the characters, feeling a bit like an outsider throughout the story.
Review to come.
What a lovely, lovely book. This is a wonderful retelling of the Beauty and the Beast fairytale. No, the story/plot is not original, how could it be? But the way it is told, and the insight into both Beauty (Mira) and the Beast (whom she calls Lysander) makes the tale infinitely more engaging. Ki...
