Annette S. Marquis possesses a passion for human rights, social justice, and making the world a more humane place. She loves technology, especially when it helps her in that mission. Her latest book, an ebook published by Skinner House Books and available on Amazon for Kindle, is Resistance: A Memoir of Civil Disobedience in Maricopa County. Resistance recounts her experiences participating in an action of civil disobedience protesting Arizona's harsh anti-immigration law, SB 1070. Annette holds a Master of Fine Arts degree in Creative NonFiction Writing from Solstice MFA Program at Pine Manor College and a Master of Social Work degree from Boston University.
