Anthony J. Nocella II, Ph.D., award-winning author, community organizer, and educator is an Assistant Professor criminology and sociology, gender and women's studies, environmental studies, and peace and conflict studies at Fort Lewis College, Editor of the Peace Studies Journal, Executive Director of the Institute for Critical Animal Studies, and National Co-Coordinator of Save the Kids. He is also the Director of the Academy of Peace Education and the Institute for Hip Hop Activism. He is the Co-editor of the Critical Animal Studies and Theory book series with Lexington Books and Editor of the Radical Animal Studies and Total Liberation book series with Peter Lang books. Nocella is a scholar-activist grounded in the field of education, justice, criminology, and peace and conflict studies. He is internationally known for his innovative, transformative, and intersectional collaborations among fields of study, social movements, scholars, communities, and activists.Dr. Nocella has published more than fifty scholarly articles or book chapters, co-founded more than ten active political organizations and serves on four boards. I found this to be a comprehensive guide to ALF, albeit a rather repetitive one. There were multiple good articles in this one but largely they are were heavy with repetition and statistics which those who have read things on animal rights before will know about.
