Anthony Pignataro is the editor of MauiTime, an alt-weekly based in Wailuku on the island of Maui. A journalist since 1996, he's also the author of a series of noirish novels set on Maui-"Small Island" and "The Dead Season," so far-that are published by Event Horizon Press. Most recently a collection of his journalism that deals with classic noir themes like misfits, beautiful babes and rich guys called "Stealing Cars With The Pros" was also published, again by Event Horizon Press. He's written for numerous publications including OC Weekly, Sacramento Magazine, Sacramento News & Review and CalWatchdog. He currently resides on Maui, where he enjoys playing with cats and dogs, making objects out of paper and offering tactical suggestions while his girlfriend Angie plays Skyrim.
