I think I would have liked this book more if I would have had time to read it faster. It was one of those books that called for devouring hours at a time. Katherine gave me such high expectations. This book was kind of a let down.

I liked the first third, had every intention of finishing, but probably won't—due to too many other commitments and insufficient interest in the Massachusetts Bay Colony. My fault, not the book's. So go ahead. Read it anyway.
