Reading list: Halloween Book Bingo - Southern Gothic

I read a book for HW Bingo in 2016 called Spook Lights: Southern Gothic Horror by Eden Royce. It's a collection of 12 stories. I used it for a diverse authors square, I believe.

The Elementals by Michael McDowell is perfect for this category and HW Bingo. Also McDowell's Cold Moon Over Babylon. And I'm looking at this Blackwater Saga for this category, too.

I'm guessing the Sookie Stackhouse books would fit in this category?

'The Graveyard Queen' series by Amanda Stevens would definitely fit this category.

Also, even though I deeply dislike Anne Rice, Interview with the Vampire, set in New Orleans, pretty much exemplifies this list. Also, she's a twatwaffle, but it's a good book.

Faith Hunter's Jane Yellowrock series is set in Louisiana.
