April Dishon Barker was born in the early 1980's in San Antonio, Texas to two United States Veterans. She has visited three continents and loves to travel. She attended Paul Quinn College where she obtained a B.A. in Communications and a very sparkly engagement ring on her graduation day. She married her college sweetheart and they now have four beautiful children. She worked in Academic libraries for most of her twenties while wishfully thinking of writing and purchasing a plethora of journals and also working in ministry. For the last 4 years she has done freelance SEO blogging and self-publishing, while always being faithful to serve at her local church as a minister. She enjoys singing, writing and quilting. April Dishon Barker is a young woman with wisdom beyond her years and seeks to share this wisdom through the books in her Nuggets series. "Nuggets for the 21 Day Fast" and "Nuggets for the New Believer". She also enjoys writing Christian fiction and has co-authored two novellas "What about Momma's House?" and "What About Love?". She is a believer on the Lord Jesus Christ and unashamedly writes from a Biblical worldview. She is a licensed minister, and loves to spread the joy of Christ to all she meets, if only,with a smile.
