3.5 stars. This was a really sweet story about long-time friends to lovers who play football. It wasn't very believable, but it was quite an enjoyable read. P.S. Paul was horrible. I hated him from the start and was doing the happy dance when he hit the highway.

Omg, this was sooo adorable. I loved it. Just a fun fluffy read about best friends who become lovers. Derek and Ford are on the same college football team. Behind the unattractive cover lurks a gorgeous story about friends becoming lovers. Sweet without being cloying and with wonderful secondary characters. I just wish it had been a little longer.

2.5 but rounded up b/c I"m in a good mood. For me, this teetered towards the too sweet side of things. A lot of implausible events with implausible characters, but if you are looking for a friends to lovers footballers book with little to no angst you might really enjoy this.

Dear Sara Bell,Point blank; I loved this story. Ford and Derek were The Cuteness. Paul was Le Douchebag. Derek's family made me want to hug them all. Seriously, you have short stories down to a science. Yeah, I adored this story the way I adored Heart Song and The Manny. So, here's the thing, I need ...

4.5 starsSara Bell has become a favorite in this genre. She can pack a satisfying story in about 50 pages. I also love how most of her stories have a heavy family theme on it. I enjoy Derek and Ford's interaction, plus the family dynamic. I love how down-to-earth these guys (and the family) are. It'...
