3.5 stars. This was a really sweet story about long-time friends to lovers who play football. It wasn't very believable, but it was quite an enjoyable read. P.S. Paul was horrible. I hated him from the start and was doing the happy dance when he hit the highway.

Behind the unattractive cover lurks a gorgeous story about friends becoming lovers. Sweet without being cloying and with wonderful secondary characters. I just wish it had been a little longer.
2.5 but rounded up b/c I"m in a good mood. For me, this teetered towards the too sweet side of things. A lot of implausible events with implausible characters, but if you are looking for a friends to lovers footballers book with little to no angst you might really enjoy this.
So sweet! I was in the mood for sappy and sweet and almost too good to be true, and this fit the bill nicely!
