My name is Aria Michaels and I lead a double life. In addition to being a wife and mother of six (you read that right...six kids), I am also a creator of worlds, instigator of literary mayhem, and stealth assassin of fictional characters. In January of 2014, I walked away from a "comfortable" job in higher education to finally pursue my life-long dreams of becoming a published author. It was both the scariest and most amazing thing I have ever done, but it is something I will never be able to bring myself to regret. After a close call with my health I found myself questioning what I was doing with my life and what kind of mark I would be leaving behind in this world. Suddenly, I wanted to do more, see more...BE more. I will forever be grateful the universe gave me the shove a needed to finally get me back to my original passion...creation. Be it with brushes or with words, the ability to manipulate an entire world is the single greatest legacy (aside from parenthood) that any of us can hope for, and I am humbled by the opportunity to share my word-babies with each and every one of you.
