Aric Cushing is a writer and the co-director of the Los Angeles Fear and Fantasy Film Festival. After growing up in the remote redwoods of Santa Cruz county and working at Big Basin State Park, he studied at the American Conservatory Theater in San Francisco and the London Court Theater in England. In 2012, he discovered two stories by Charlotte Perkins Gilman, unpublished since their original publication, and thought to be forever lost. Those stories are contained in the volume The Yellow Wallpaper and other stories: The Complete Gothic Collection. He is currently working on a young adult series, with the first book's release date scheduled for 2014.
