Art Montague is a Canadian author and freelance writer recently moved from Ottawa, Ontario, to the historic nearby community of Perth. He continues to write in those areas which interest him the most -- history, crime, biography. Canadian themes are foremost in many of his works. Art has placed more than 200 feature articles, essays, and short fiction in various print magazines and webzines. He has authored five popular histories, one crime fiction novella, and a bestselling Canadian travel book. The Canadian Horse (James Lorimer & Co., Publisher) is his newest release.
