A quick read, full of adventure. The writing is good and I enjoyed the character development, which was lacking in the first book. A great adventure book with lots of creative problem solving. This is a cool series.

This book was so good! I love the characters, especialle Holly and 'Smulder' as he is called in the Danish book - I loved his thing with the Oscars! The kentaur was pretty nice too. I liked Artemis a lot more in this one. Butler is still an amazing characters as well. The plot was much better in this...

Review of the first AF audiobook. I've always been torn over this book and the audiobook made little difference. Before and after reading the book, I'm not very excited about it. While reading/listening to it, however, I greatly enjoy it and find it fun. Even when I'm not enamored by the book, I ...

These books are a nice and quick read. Perfect for, for example. a cold winter day when you don't want to go outside and just cuddle up with a book. I liked this book a bit better than the first one in the series. It's still a children's book, but for me that isn't a real problem every once in a w...

Not as strong as the first. There are a few good scenes, but all the characters and stuff that was original in the first book is just repeated in the second. I will read one more in hopes of a larger role for Mulch Diggums the flatulent dwarf.

As a sequel to the first Artemis Fowl book, this novel is just as impressive. The novel spends a lot of time setting up the history of the evil characters, just as it does spending time setting up the history of Artemis' father and the unfortunate events leading up to his disappearance.Once again, i...

My second favourite of the series - I think I like them according to the order they are in, which is interesting. We still get to see more and more of the world revealed, and it's almost as captivating as the first book.
