A quick read, full of adventure. The writing is good and I enjoyed the character development, which was lacking in the first book. A great adventure book with lots of creative problem solving. This is a cool series.

Not as strong as the first. There are a few good scenes, but all the characters and stuff that was original in the first book is just repeated in the second. I will read one more in hopes of a larger role for Mulch Diggums the flatulent dwarf.
