I was expecting more illustrations & to understand the book. I may be dense. I had a hard time understanding the logic of quite a bit. However; I have never read the story before & watched the new movie 1st. My opinion could be tainted as I understood the movie.

I liked the book a lot. The further along I got in the book, the more I liked it. I wouldn't say it's a favorite, but still really good none-the-less. As always, I loved Huck Finn.
