Half way through the book, and I've reached my DNF point:A cute story, with a great idea but one that doesn't really work: it's a light paranormal, with pretty explicit sex scenes ( it's not that I mind this, only that it doesn't seem to mesh with the story being told) the characters that don't ring...
What did I just read? Alarm bells went off in my head when the protagonist is very easily convinced that she shouldn't call the cops after her neck was sliced by a guy trying to rape her. At that point, why should I care about her at all? It was sloppy of the writer to not work around the cop situat...
This was a cute, light-hearted book, although I did have to put it down several times. I liked the two main characters. I'll read the next book in the series.
