This is the first Asterix book I ever read! I remember I was 6 years old at the time and my aunt took me to the library to get my very first library card. This was the first book she helped me pick out (probably because she liked it too) and I loved it! Such great memories of the whole series.
Well, now we know we really "discovered" America! Why wasn't Asterix more popular here in the States? Maybe because you actually have to read it?
I didn't have much fun with this volume :(
I read all the Asterix books as a kid in the early 1990s...
