I like this author and this was another good story but dear lord did it move slow. If the the first 75% were condensed into the first 25% this could have been five stars for me but those first 3/4 of the novel was one long boring romance that had very little impact on the story as a whole. I had to set this aside. I don't know that I'll come back to this one. The writing was good, but the main character's asides and interior voice got on my nerves.
