Totally loved it! Easy to read and once you begin it is hard to put down. Definitely a series I am interested enough in to continue reading and soooo looking forward to the next book.

I don’t feel great about giving this book two stars. To me, two stars seems paltry and possibly indicative of poor writing, plotting and characterisation – and that’s not actually true in the case of Aurelia. But the Goodreads star system defines two stars as “It was okay”, and to be honest, that’s ...

3.5 stars. I really enjoyed it. It had good writing, plot, pacing, characters. I just didn't get into it very much. My expectations were also quite high after reading "Academy 7" by the same author. Still, I would recommended this one. But "Academy 7" is much better.

Aurelia, crown princess of Tyrult, is in danger. Several assasination attempts later and her old classmate Robert Vauntage is back at the castle to try and solve the mystery of who wants to kill Aurelia. The characterization is very sparse, but the effect, overall, works. Though the characters are m...

I wasn't sure what to expect from this book, but it sure wasn't what I got! I had my mind made up about the culprit (with some brilliant prodding from the author) and was totally thrown. Didn't see that one coming at all! Only thing I didn't like was that the villain didn't get theirs in the end ...
