I tried at least twice to read this book. I couldn't get into it at all. I guess Pullman and I aren't a good match.
I loved Will's character, he is such a brave little boy! Altough at some point the book dragged a little, the introduction of this new character changed everything and made it all more interesting. And that chapter about Lee... I won't give away anything but let me just say I love him.
Interesting enough. Not one of my favourites, though. It was fast-moving, but at the same time...slow.
