(2.5 stars)This is the second book in this series, following Matched, which I read last year and enjoyed. Be warned that there may be spoilers for Matched. Here is the summary from Goodreads: Cassia and Ky both narrate their quests crossing the ochre mountainous Carving to reach their love. She s...

Ally Condie has done it again (no surprise). While this book is slower paced, it's even more beautiful than Matched! Full re-review to come...***This book was really slow paced, but it fit the story well. I just wish it hadn't been so slow paced so I would've finished it faster. I fell in love with ...

I didn't like this as good as Matched, but still was a good read. I didn't check good enough though, to realized that the third in the series isn't out yet! Now I have to wait!

It's about time I got around to reading Crossed. I've been wanting to read this book since I first finished Matched but for some reason I kept putting it off. While Crossed was not quite as enthralling as Matched, I'm happy to say that I enjoyed it.Crossed starts off shortly after the final events...

Unfortunately I didn't enjoy this book as much as Matched (book 1). Most of the book seemed a bit irrelevant.. The good news is the next book, Reached, ROCKS! My video review! -> http://youtu.be/vswaU4u9_LQ

Not quite as good as the first, Crossed can't stand alone and yet makes me ravenous for the next book. Cassia leaves the Borough to find Ky in the Outer Providences, while searching for a life outside the Society's confines. A simple plot spruced up with the addition of some interesting new characte...

3.5 starsI had a hard time getting into this book but once I did, the pages went by quickly. In some ways I enjoyed it more than Matched and in others I felt Matched was better. This book is told in both Ky and Cassia's POV and it's interesting to know what is going through Ky's mind because we didn...

Quick Review: Well maybe I should say thoughts. I only gave this 3 stars because I did not like it as much as I loved Matched. There wasn't really a high point until the end. There is a twist I didn't see coming. I think the basis of this book was to set up for Reached. (Which I can't wait for....

Crossed is the second in the Matched series by Ally Condie. In Crossed, Cassia has been taken to a camp, where she labors each day for the Society and secretly plots a way to find Ky. She’s no longer the girl excited for her Matched Ceremony, just another sheep in the herd; she’s determined to fin...

Something I'm really tired of is authors abusing the first person point of view. And when I say I'm tired of it what I really mean is that IT MAKES ME LIVID. But I'm letting my anger get ahead of me. Crossed is the second book in Ally Condie's Matched trilogy, the first volume of which (also calle...
