I am plowing through this trilogy by Maya Banks and loving every minute of it. I thought the last book was the best...I was wrong, this one is. Can I give more than five stars? I loved this. While each of this books could potentially stand alone, I would highly recommend that you read them in order....

Sometimes you just need a book to escape in, and Maya Banks does escape books that will curl your toes and hit the spot. Hit all your spots, if you know what I mean. I was having one of those days where I was sick and tired and sick and tired of being sick and tired. Guys, I love books on those kind...

This book is so well written that at times I could actually feel Keeley and Alaric's love for each other. And man was it a rollercoaster of emotion! I was on the edge of my seat through the whole book and if I didn't know that they would get a happy ending I might have thrown my ereader at the wall ...

I must admit to being initially a bit disappointed that Rionna wasn't going to be the heroine as I'd assumed after reading the last book. Where the first book in the series had more external conflict, this one has a lot more internal conflict.

Not as good as the first, more emotional. Looking forward to Caelen's story, he's very yummy.

I loved this book!! Both Keely and Alaric were willing to sacrifice themselves for the clan even if it means that they can't be together. It's so heartbreaking but so loyal! I hardly ever tear up when reading a book but when Alaric realizes that he can't live without Keely, his declaration of love h...
