This is a short story prequel, so I won’t be doing a full review for it.So, I’m not quite sure how to feel about this. I have a few friends on GoodReads who gave Mila 2.0 rave reviews (whose opinions I greatly trust), but…I’ve also had a couple not finish it at all (whose opinion I also greatly trus...

I’m not really sure what to say about Origins: The Fire. It is a prequel short story to Mila 2.0, and short it was. It was only 15 pages long, and I didn’t really feel like it told us anything. It basically started with Mila waking up and realizing the house was on fire. She then tries to escape, re...

Nice little companion piece to Mila 2.0. Gives us insight into Mila's emotional state at the start of the book.

Starts off with a bang, but then progresses typically into new girl in town and a boy (always a boy). Then, when you least expect it, things get interesting at the very last moment. Definitely entices you to go on and read book #1. And so, I shall. Free on Amazon right now.

I didn't find this prequel until I was already into Mila 2.0, and I found it fascinating, but I think it will be more interesting for readers once they already know something of the story--I'd start with the book excerpt rather than the prequel to get an idea if Mila 2.0 is for you. The prequel answ...

1/19/13 - Kobo free download. Also available for free on Amazon and other online bookstores.I often wonder why publishers do this. This is essentially a 15 page prequel to MILA 2.0 and contains the first 7 chapters of the book. I know it is to entice readers to purchase the book, however a 15 page s...

A chapter's worth of writing, a prologue if you will, of a girl waking up to find her house on fire, but despite this the last words are intriguing, implying more is going on than meets the eye.
