I'm trying to read the books I have by favorite authors that I haven't read yet. Does that sentence make sense? So Daisy is hell-spawn (her mother is human, her father is a demon). She has a tail. She's in love with a werewolf who likes her but doesn't want to go aganist his clan. So she dat...
Daisy's hoping that after the whole mysterious-eldritch-involved-drowning of the first book, things will be calming down in her life. The heavy tourist season is over for her town, and some of the various non-human creatures in the area go into some sort of winter hibernation. But life isn't usually...
I was wanting something not too heavy to read, and I remembered having read the first book in this series quite a while ago. I remember being very unenthusiastic about the main love interest that was established in that book, which led to my dragging my feet with regard to reading this one. I may ...
What a nice read this was. I really enjoyed reading more about Daisy and her friends. The plot was interesting and a page turner for me. Daisy and Jen. I loved them all. There weren't many of female friendship in urban fantasy / paranormal books. Usu...
Just like the first book, this one was great. The mystery and world building made it hard to put down. I actually was reading this during NYCC and remember sitting in bed reading it while all my artist friends worked hard then on the plane I finished it. So good.
Another YA book from Ms. Carey. Will it be similar to Santa Olivia ones? Those were fabulous. The grittiness of it. This one, I'm mixed about. Full disclosure, I didn't read the first book. I have it but I'm reading out of order by accident. Daisy is slightly ditzy. I don't mean as dumb. I m...
