Annye Rothenberg, Ph.D., is a San Francisco Bay Area child/parent psychologist and a specialist in childrearing and development of young children. Her parenting psychology practice is in Redwood City, CA. She currently guides families with young children up to age 10, and her advice is particularly realistic and practical because of her school and home visits. She frequently gives talks to groups of parents, teachers, and pediatricians. She is, of course, a parent. Her current series of books focuses on the most common childrearing issues. They have an “all-in-one” format with a colorfully illustrated, humorous story for children and a comprehensive manual for parents. She is also an adjunct clinical assistant professor of pediatrics at Stanford University School of Medicine, teaching pediatric residents how to give advice to parents on childrearing. Dr. Rothenberg spent many years developing and directing an award-winning parenting program in Palo Alto and has written several books, including Parentmaking, used throughout the U.S. and Canada for teaching parenting classes.
