How refreshing to have a protagonist that is likeable! He's far from perfect but this is exactly what makes him more human and relate-able.This is a little gem of a book. The story is gripping, the magical/supernatural world is perfectly setup and makes it one of the most "realistic" ones out there....

This was a great story...and best of all, the main character was some dumb female like too many urban fantasy novels.:P
