Dom returns after two years to re-acquaint herself with friends, lovers, rivals and the world that she left. Lots of action and a certain finality to the plot. I found this more entertaining than Volume 1 but I’m not too enthusiastic about the cartoony artwork.

I wish I hadn't waited so long between reading the first volume and this one - it took me a while to get back into it, and remember who was who and what was going on. The time jump and storytelling that skips around didn't help. That said, Motor Crush remains a delight. The writing, world building, ...

This book has so many things to love. Fast, snappy, writing. Diverse and interesting characters. A unique and captivating sci-fi world. Action and intrigue. Art that evokes a bubblegummy retro anime vibe, with plenty of emotion, excellent panel layout, and fun future-punk flourishes. I'm hooked and ...

This comic collection deals with a girl motorcycle racer who also takes part in illegal street races, the prize of which is Crush, an illegal accelerant, which she consumes. There is a lot of drama, a lot of motorcycle racing as you can imagine and plenty of action. The illustrations are anime-ins...

The ISOLA prologue at the end is neat, especially since I have a signed, limited variant coming soon. (I contacted Image and they're coming soon if you got the Humble Bundle. I thought they were coming out in March, but apparently I was wrong.) But the main attraction for me is Domino, and her a...

I bought the second through fourth issues a couple weeks ago and am just now getting to read this. I've been having a little bit of a reading slump as I've been feeling tired and run down and anxious lately, so I'm encouraged by the fact that I'm able to read as of late. That being said, I think...

There is a sale on Comixology that's all about rebirth - and it's pre-rebirth issues - and this is the last issue on sale. I didn't splurge beyond this, although I did pick up Black Canary because it's by the same author. (While I bought issue two in a grab bag, I'm going to reread it digitally. ...
