Balaji Sivasubramanian has more than 13 years experience in the Networking and Virtualization industry. He currently serves as a Director of Product Management at Cisco in the Data Center Group where he is response for Cisco's products and strategies in the Software Defined Networks/Network Virtualization markets. Before this role, Balaji was Head of Customer engineering at Big Switch Networks where he built the commercial team defining and selling the earliest SDN solutions. Prior to that, Balaji spent 12 years at Cisco responsible for product management of various campus and Data Center switching products including Nexus 7000 and Catalyst 6500 switches. Balaji is also a co-author of the popular "Building Cisco Multilayered Switching Networks" and "Implementing Cisco IP Switched Networks" books, both published by Cisco Press .
