Yes, I rated this four stars. I found that some flashback scenes were overdrawn or just unnecessary, which made this book feel a tad too long for my taste. Some of them were absolutely necessary not only to understand Balthazar, but also the relationship between his sister, Charity and his Sire,...

All in all it was a really enjoyable read, where we learn in parts what Balthazar's life was like before ever night academy and how he came to be, the vampire he is today. I personally hate that this is the last and final book in the series apart from afterlife. I wish Claudia Gray would've continue...

ahhhh Balthazar.... what can I say??? This was a fun read. A great catch up with some of the characters from the Evernight series. I loved how the story was told through both Skye and Balthazars POV and I loved the flashbacks into Balthazars life. It was a great way to get to know him and understand...

Great read! After really not liking the last Evernight book, this was a wonderful surprise. Balthazar was always one of my favorite characters anyway, so getting a story about him was a treat! Appears there will be more to follow and I'll be there for the next one! RECOMMEND!!

After all, I'm writing this review at 3AM in the morning, aren't I? I would LOVE to see more of Balthazar (...

The Evernight Series was an amazing series and this picks up shortly after where Afterlife left off. This is Balthazar’s story. He agrees to watch over Skye Tierney who is a former student from The Evernight Academy. But she isn’t just an ordinary girl, she has psychic abilities. She has caught the ...

Balthazar is a cleverly written, powerfully suspenseful paranormal spin-off of Claudia Gray's Evernight series, that readers are sure to enjoy. It is an intensely compelling and intriuging novel, with well established characters, wonderful development, and a unique writing style that makes Gray stan...
