Barbara Scott, a former WordServe Literary Group Agent in Nashville, TN, was born October 5, 1948, in Cuba, Missouri, to Wayne and Eula Stowell. She has more than 35 years experience in newspaper, magazine, and book publishing, including adult, youth, and children's fiction and non-fiction. Barbara has authored a non-fiction book, HEMINGWAY AND LORCA: BLOOD, SAND, AND DUENDE; coauthored with Carrie Younce two bestselling novels for Thomas Nelson--SEDONA STORM and SECRETS OF THE GATHERING DARKNESS; and written numerous gift books and ghostwritten pieces. Barbara was responsible for acquiring and launching a new bestselling YA fiction line at Zondervan Publishing and a new adult fiction line at Abingdon Press, which earned numerous accolades and starred reviews in Publisher's Weekly and Library Journal.
