Barbara wrote her first short story at the age of nine, then typed "The End" to her first novel many years later...in the eighth grade. Now, she's writing contemporary romance for Harlequin American Romance. Barbara's thrilled to share that 2015 brings the release of a new series, The Hitching Post Hotel. The Hitching Post is a small, ranch-set hotel owned by a matchmaking grandpa who wants to see all his granddaughters married to the men he's handpicked for them. Unfortunately, they don't have a clue what he's up to! The series includes The Cowboy's Little Surprise (April), A Rancher of Her Own (July), and The Lawman's Christmas Proposal (December).Barbara loves writing, reading about cowboy heroes (among many others), and chocolate.
