The book was "ok", not great like Mercedes Lackey's first sets of Valdemar novels, but not as bad as the previous two books in the Collegium Chronicles series either. We get to learn about Mags family and what happened with his parents. It took five books! I'm not complaining; they were good books! I thought this was going to be the last book of the series but it can't be. I want more. Also, this doesn't feel like the end. There are no glaring questions left ...
