Collects Issue 1-8 of Batman and Robin from the DC reboot The New 52. The story isn't great but it isn't terrible either. There are a few really groan worthy bits in this. One is this bat-ninja strike to the forehead that paralyzes... really? Really? Then the scenes where Damion kills small anim...

Possibly what stood out to me most about this collection is what a huge step backwards the character of Damian has taken. He'd made a lot of progress when Dick was Batman, and now he's back right where he started. I can, however, buy this, sort of. He thought his father was dead, and now he's not, a...

I liked this a lot, seems like it will reside in a somewhat darker realm... Hope the rest continue the rise of how good these got. This is a close non 5-star, but hey whatever it's Batman and I loved it regardless.
