A good sequel but it didn't ring all of my bells like the first book. I'm definitely still enamoured of Kael and I like his softer side peeking through!

It's weird because I kind of want to dislike it at times, but the elements that require suspenses of disbelief are so perfectly balanced that I really can't pick out anything wrong with it. I mean, yeah, I could question the base premise of it, but that would defeat the purpose. It's also intriguing...
I'm torn. I had a lot of issues with the first one (Angel's annoying immaturity being a big one) but I'd like to see these characters grow... don't wanna be burned again though...
