I find reading this series quite funny. He writes so matter-of-factly. He really likes to explain things. He makes me think of that overly passionate friend who wants to describe everything in great detail to you. I'm totally ok with that. Makes for a fun read.
I don’t want to be critical of this book. I have way too many fond memories of the Incarnations of Immortality series. But, yeah, it’s pretty bad. In fairness, trying to write about Chronos who is living in reverse to the rest of the world must have significant challenges for plot and continuity. ...
As with the earlier book in the series: not as good as I remembered. But I will finish my re-read!
Piers Anthony is one of my favorite authors but this is one of the worst books that I have ever read. Predictable, bad plot, poorly developed main character, rushed story line, uninteresting climax of events; a complete failure and waste of reading time. I will read incarnations of immortality 3 but...
