Beate Sigriddaughter's new novel Audrey: A Book of Love tells the story of a young poet who falls in love with an older woman and a young man at once. Born in Germany, Beate Sigriddaughter is a US citizen and a summa cum laude graduate of Georgetown University. Currently she lives in Silver City, New Mexico, Land of Enchantment. For many years she studied, taught, and competed in ballroom dance. As a writer, she is primarily interested in the situation of contemporary women in the western world. Her writing is widely available online and has received several awards. She has also served as editor and facilitator in a variety of literary venues and has honored passionate women's voices with her Glass Woman Prize from 2007-2014.
